Wantable has a crowdsourcing opportunity to make face masks to help our medical personnel! They are looking for people who can sew to help make face masks. I wish I could sew better and hadn’t just donated my old sewing machine. This is so great. They make face masks and send these to the hospitals and those on the frontlines can use them, typically wearing them over the medical-grade N95 masks in order to extend the life of them!
What a great cause!! Please pass along this info to anyone who can sew and would love to give their time!
Also, if you hadn’t heard, look into the new thing to honor health care workers that started overseas. Everyone goes out to their front porch or balcony and applauds for those in the medical profession. I think its set to be done at 8:00 in the afternoon locally generally.
