I’ve earned over a thousand dollars through a cashback site. Not sure if I should say that I’ve sadly earned so much because it really also means I’ve spent right? But I am still frugal. The beauty of the cashback sites is, if you’re going to make a purchase anyway, then if you go through one, it costs you nothing but a little time, and you end up with some extra cash eventually. Originally, I wasn’t quite sure about it, but now that I’ve seen consistent decent payouts, I’ve got the entire family running everything through TopCashBack.com now. It’s been good and the support has been excellent whenever we’ve had to inquire about a purchase.

Some other excellent and reputable cashback sites include:

  • Topcashback
  • Ebates
  • Retailmenot

You should choose your cashback site based on the sites you like to buy through. Look over the percentage you get back at the stores you shop with. The percentages tend to fluctuate but you should be able to settle on a top one or two of these sites. By only using one or two sites, it’s easier to keep track of what you should have come back and also grow the amount to a payable cashout amount (some have minimum limits for cashback).

We mainly use TopCashBack because it has great rates and has been excellent about paying out. It’s free to join and you can choose to get cashback with no minimum requirement.

Several other options for savings that may sometimes be stacked in conjunction with cashback sites is credit card rewards and gift card resaler discounts.
